Start with the medium and valve function

The medium decides the basic valve construction. Air, water, oil and steam can require different body materials, seal materials and temperature ratings. Buyers should also confirm whether the circuit needs normally closed, normally open, 2/2, 3/2 or 5/2 valve logic.

Confirm pressure, temperature, body and seal

Pressure and temperature should be checked together with the body and seal package. Brass, stainless steel, engineering plastic, NBR, EPDM and PTFE options should not be treated as interchangeable. Steam and higher-temperature service need extra confirmation before quoting.

Check port size, flow and installation space

Port size should match the pipe or pneumatic circuit, but flow demand and installation space also matter. Send thread size, mounting photos and space limits when replacing an old valve.

Match voltage and coil requirements

Common coil options include DC 12 V, DC 24 V, AC 110 V and AC 220 V, but buyers should also confirm frequency, connector type, duty cycle and whether the application requires continuous energizing.
